Phuket Waters Cleaning Project It is a project initiated and created by “Oceans for All Foundations”. Blue Tree Phuket would like to see Phuket Sea and beautiful surroundings alongside Phuket residents for a long time. They have co-sponsored the construction of the catamaran 002, the second ship to sail around Phuket to collect floating waste. Garbage collected will be sorted on board. And every week, the sorted waste is sent to recycling plants around the island with the help and support of the local community.

These are the first boats in Phuket to clean the waters around the island to help clean the beaches. This creates a better experience for visiting tourists and supports local villagers who make a living through fishing and indirect tourism. In addition, littering that floats off the water prevents marine animals from eating and entering. Get entangled with items such as plastic, foam, and fishing nets.

The catamaran 001 currently collects an average of 300/400 kg of waste per week. Adding a catamaran 002, supported by Blue Tree, will be able to double the amount of waste collection from the waters around Phuket.
